The “root” that is Hadley Terrace

The Salvatorian Sisters’ century-long commitment to caring for elders shines through at Hadley Terrace Senior Apartments. The sisters sponsor Hadley Terrace in collaboration with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and property management firm, Rosenthal Associates. For the last 21 years, the collaboration has provided secure, affordable apartment living for adults 62 and older who meet HUD’s federal low-income eligibility guidelines. It allows them to maintain their independent lifestyle within a supportive environment in Milwaukee’s central city.

Hadley Terrace operates according to the Fair Housing Act and the Wisconsin Open Housing Law. Each of its 60 units features a bedroom, kitchen, living and dining area, full bathroom and spacious closets. Hadley Terrace service coordinator Liz L. says, “It’s so much more than an apartment building.” She coordinates health and wellness services and educational programs to promote the dignity of each person in an environment of caring and respect.
