Meet Sister Edesia Ngilangwa, SDS

My name is Edesia Ngilangwa, SDS. I come from Njo Tombe Village in Tanzania. In my family there are eight people. I have three brothers and I have three sisters. All my family are alive. My father and my mother work on the farm. Also, my mother takes care of our children.

I started primary school in 1986. I was finished in 1992. I started kindergarten teaching school in 1996 and finished in 1998. I taught kindergarten for one year.

I joined the congregation in 2000 and made first vows in 2005. In 2006 I taught kindergarten school in Nandembo. In 2013 I made final vows. From 2014 to now I have been working in the Salvatorian Sisters’ shop at Migongo Mission.

To the sisters in America, I want to say thank you Madam Sue and Margaret and all sisters who have helped us to learn English and different songs and helping us to know the word of God. Also, thank you all sisters in America who are helping all sisters in Tanzania to get an education. I say thank you very much. God Bless you.
