Job Description:

To work with the director of New Membership to seek out, respond to, and stay in contact with young woman who are prospective candidates for the Sisters of the Divine Savior. This would include involvement in programs at local schools and organizations where these young women would be involved, providing content about vocations and Salvatorian life for print and digital publications, and collaboration with other branches of the Salvatorian family to promote vocations. This is a full-time, salaried position.


  • BA in Religious Studies, Theology or similar field
  • Ministerial experience in the Catholic Church, preferably with young adults
  • Enthusiasm for and familiarity with religious life in the Catholic Church
  • Ability to work with others as part of a Team
  • Possesses strong social media skills
  • Be in good standing in the Catholic Church

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists the New Membership Director in visiting prospective candidates and arranging for visits by the prospective candidate to Salvatorian communities, especially in¬† the Milwaukee area
  • Is energetic and provides a welcoming presence for all prospective candidates
  • Visits Salvatorian and non-Salvatorian institutions, schools and parishes to present talks, media presentations etc. about Salvatorian religious life. Spends time on college campuses to interact with young women and offer presentations related to spirituality and religious life; builds and strengthens relationships with colleges, parishes and other Catholic entities
  • Pursues actively and participates in programs, places etc. where young adults gather for spiritual input, e.g. ARISE, Theology on Tap, FOCUS, SPIRITUS, Catholics on Call and other groups
  • Assists in the creation of content about Salvatorian religious life for SDS website, social media accounts, Salvatorian Family online needs and printed material where needed
  • Collaborates with the other branches of the Salvatorian Family in promoting vocations
  • Has membership in the National Religious Vocation Conference and Religious Life Wisconsin and attends meetings as discussed with the New Membership Director
