As an international congregation, our sisters minister in 26 countries on five continents. More than 1,000 sisters live the timeless challenge to follow Jesus by bringing the Gospel to the poor and empowering them to develop their own resources. Our work reaches those most in need in countries around the globe.
Tanzania, DR Congo, Kenya, Zambia & Mozambique
Our local sisters and foreign missionaries teach lay leaders to provide sacramental preparation, serve as medical aids in rural villages, and operate a nutrition center. They also serve as midwives and teach in schools and kindergartens.
Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Malaysia & Philippines
Salvatorian Sisters minister to families struggling with poverty, while respecting their local Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu and Taoist faith traditions. Our sisters’ ministries include education, pastoral and social work, and running a home in Sri Lanka for orphaned girls.
Brazil, Colombia, & Uruguay
Our sisters serve people living in extreme poverty through ministries in education, health care, pastoral care and social work.
Israel & Jordan
Salvatorian Sisters are symbols of hope for people caught between economic and religious conflicts. In Nazareth, Israel, the sisters operate a school for 2,000 children.
Albania, Romania, Poland, Hungary & Ukraine
Sisters of the Divine Savior engage in health care, religious education, pastoral ministry and work with youth and refugees, all among people who live daily with economic and spiritual deprivation.
North America
In South Dakota and Wisconsin, our sisters serve in schools, parish and adult education programs and health care institutions. They also carry out diocesan and parish administration, pastoral care, social work, and outreach to immigrants, prison populations and survivors of human trafficking.
Austria, Belgium, England, Germany & Italy
Our sisters serve European people through ministries in education, health care, retreats, counseling and pastoral care. Our international headquarters is in Rome, Italy.
