2020 Birthday Advice: Sister Grace Mary Croft

As Salvatorian Sisters continue to age in wisdom and grace in the year 2020, each shares advice to her 20-year-old self to celebrate her birthday.

I remember the day I realized that “becoming perfect” was a life-long process not an attainable goal, no matter how hard I tried.  So, my advice would be:  Ease up on “striving for perfection”, because, until you die, your life will never be neatly tied up with bow and ready for delivery!  Learn to balance taking yourself and life seriously, but not TOO seriously. You will enjoy life more, be able to live more graciously with your foibles, and love the YOU that God has given you.
